We train an open LLM for crypto. In our own data center.
Sovereign AI is an independent research and product team building open, crypto-specialized language models. We don't wrap proprietary APIs — we train our own 14B model on our own hardware and publish the eval methodology.
Our stack: a Tesla V100 16GB for primary training and inference, paired with an RTX 2070 8GB as a secondary worker. Orchestration via Ray. SFT + DPO training via Unsloth. Public eval, public model card.
Mission
Build a crypto-specialist LLM that's measurably better than generalist models at the specific questions crypto users actually have — and make it cheap and open enough that anyone can use it or audit it.
What we believe
- Open models should be held to the same benchmarking rigor as closed ones.
- Utility tokens should be immediately redeemable for the utility they claim.
- No price predictions in paid content. Education, not hot tips.
- Users should be able to reproduce everything we claim. Our eval is on GitHub.
